Maureen is based in the Melbourne office and is responsible for the development and growth of this business area which is one of the newest disciplines within the company. Whilst her strategic goal is to expand the business in Melbourne and interstate, she also participates in a number of key projects which require planning expertise within the firm. In addition to this role she is active in the broader profession as a Board member of the Building Appeals Board and participates in tutoring and other related activities at the University of Melbourne.

She commenced with the firm in 2005 and completed her town planning qualifications with honours in 1985 at the University of Melbourne. She has undertaken work in both the public and private sector prior to joining Davis Langdon. 

Her expertise lies in providing input to project feasibility studies and undertaking the approval for these or other projects. Her expertise lies in successfully obtaining planning approval for large and small scale projects without recourse to the appeal system. She has been successful in this endeavour and believes this relates to the depth of experience, inclusive approach and the ability to work with authorities and the community in a cooperative manner to achieve the client’s aims.
