We work with designers and professional teams to find solutions.

Most of the community have experienced a hotel visit at some time, generating a very broad experience and high expectation of the tourism sector, whether a hotel, serviced apartment, motel or resort. The tourism industry must meet these expectations and provide a matching experience.

At the same time the financial imperatives of the developer and the operator must be met. The sector is dominated by the major chains who either own and operate, or operate only, a range of facilities which are marketed to fill a particular market segment. There is a broad range of operators who have their own individual, and often quite specific, requirements for  property quality, design and building efficiency. Overlaying the operator’s requirements are the rules of the various agencies which provide a rating to the facility based on set benchmarks.

The developer, or owner, who may also be the operator, generally has an over-riding requirement to obtain a financial return on his investment.  This objective may not fully align with those of the operator and the successful reaching of an agreement between the two is crucial to the success of the property.

Our broad experience has led us to believe that this is a sector requiring individual solutions within an industry framework, but with the level of flair and excitement to meet user expectations. Our teams include professionals in project management and costing, environmental issues, construction and property.

We understand the importance of the drivers to a successful development and  recognise the constant need of the tourism sector to remain competitive in meeting owner, operator and user expectations.
