Rob joined Farrow Laing and Partners in 1980 and entered a partnership in 1983. He is now a director of the restructured practice of Davis Langdon Farrow Laing (Pty) Ltd as well as managing director of  Davis Langdon Engineering (Pty) Ltd and of Davis Langdon CCMI Botswana (Pty) Ltd.

Rob specialises in the provision of initial cost advice, feasibility estimates, contract advice, preparation of enquiry documents, tender adjudication, financial reporting and cost control and management of the following:

• all types of process plant, petrochemical and general engineering projects
• shaft sinking, underground and opencast mining
• 3rd party review of all engineering estimates
