Martin has an M&E engineering background and started his career in 1988 with an M&E sub-contactor in London. He joined DLPKS in 1994 and developed the M&E cost management service within the practice.

Martin has specialised in Mechanical and Electrical services, Value Management and Risk Management. He has been involved in delivering these services an many large complex projects across most sectors particularly in the Health Care, Education, Industrial and Infrastructure sectors.
