We encourage our Regional offices to engage with charities in their community for either fundraising or volunteering and this creates opportunities for team activities.

After providing pro bono services for a new building for Body & Soul - a London based charity which is focused on families affected by HIV and AIDS; we are now developing a volunteering programme with them which will provide opportunities for our people to get involved with their members programmes and activities.

The New Horizons Youth Centre in Kings Cross, London, is a day centre working with young people who are vulnerable, homeless or at risk. We supported them with a range of services including cost management, project management and tax services in the rebuilding of a new state of the art wing, which was opened in February 2010.

The Red Cross, or Red Crescent as it is known in the Middle East, was selected as the Davis Langdon Middle East regional charity partner. The various Davis Langdon offices in the Middle East work together on fundraising activities including food collections for Ramadan.
Internationally Davis Langdon and Seah is working on local initiatives to benefit their communities.

Through the Give as you Earn scheme our people are able to make a regular commitment to support an additional charity with tax-free donations.  This is matched by Davis Langdon and doubled if the donation is to our Charity Partner.

Local Grants are made on application, to charities or organisations where staff volunteer or have a personal connection.
