Davis Langdon provides the management of the design process on behalf of the Architect and Design Team.

The Davis Langdon approach is based on a thorough understanding of the design process, based on our experiences of working closely as part of the architectural team. We act as a proactive member of the Design Team and help to produce their deliverables on time, protecting the interests of the Architect and minimising risk to the Client.

Completion of duties by Davis Langdon:

Provides empathy to the design process
Provides personnel experienced in design management and familiar with the problems experienced by Design Teams.

Provides the necessary systems
Provides a 'tailor-made' management system, backed up by the clear procedures and communication routes, taking into account procurement, contract and the Client's requirements.

Provides flexibility
Allows the Architect to be free to perform fully the design tasks that they are best qualified to do.

Provides clear thinking
Provides outside help with a fresh outlook sympathetic to Design Team's needs.

Provides reassurance
Gives reassurance that issues vital to the success of the design are being managed.

Provides experience
Includes the ability to draw upon a wide range of construction consultancy services and experience within Davis Langdon when required.
