Davis Langdon is providing integrated cost management for the Museum Complex, which includes two cultural centers: The Drawing Center and The International Freedom Center. In total, the construction will cost approximately $300 million dollars and will encompass 250,000 square feet. The design for the The International Freedom Center was unveiled on May 19, 2005 by Snohetta, an architectural firm out of Norway. Currently, Davis Langdon is in the pre-schematic phase of cost analysis and predicts the project will be completed in 2009. Challenges include interfacing with both the Path Station being designed by Santiago Calatrava directly below the site and with the upcoming September 11th World Trade Center Memorial being design by Michael Arad.
