Services Engaged Pre-construction Cost Estimating

This project consisted of a new fifteen story patient care facility and a five-story adjoining parking structure providing an additional 450 parking spaces to the OHSU campus.

The facility was built to provide much-needed space for the Women’s Health center, as well as eight new operating rooms and double- and single-occupancy patient rooms.

Additional features of the project included significant excavating and shoring to accommodate the steel and the rocky slope of the building site, as well as road improvements and extensions to reach the new parking structure and facility.

Davis Langdon provided pre-construction cost estimating at a strategic level working closely with the Oregon Health & Sciences University as well as with Perkins + Will. We played a key role in both helping to set the budget and then optimizing the design to achieve the maximum value for the project.
