Luther College is a well established co-educational secondary school with an affiliated primary school, Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School.

Both Luther and Good Shepherd have experienced over-demand for some years and therefore commissioned Davis Langdon to investigate options for new sister campuses in Melbourne’s east.

Our feasibility study entailed a review of the College’s strategic aims, determination of search criteria and an evaluation matrix. Approximately 15 potential sites were identified through exhaustive confidential search and inspection.

Each site was profiled from an educational, marketing, demographic, urban planning and financial perspective. Possible developmental opportunities and risks were assessed. The full written report was complemented by audio-visual presentation and personal address.

On the basis of our study, the College Board has determined its preferred course of action which remains confidential at this stage.

The critical benefits to our Client in this project were professional evaluation of strategic options ‘up-front’. In this way the College managed its highest risk, most fundamental decision process in a highly economical and secure fashion.
