AECOM’s Davis Langdon expands infrastructure team with appointment of Paul Dyson

Former Turner & Townsend Director to strengthen Davis Langdon’s project management service for the infrastructure market.

LONDON, 2 May 2012 - Global construction consultancy Davis Langdon, an AECOM company, today announced that it has appointed Paul Dyson as a Director in its infrastructure sector team.  Dyson will have responsibility for leading Davis Langdon’s project management capability and growing AECOM’s business in this important sector.  He will be working closely with AECOM’s infrastructure engineering arm to explore how AECOM can help clients through its integrated project delivery offer for the infrastructure sector.

Dyson joins Davis Langdon from Turner & Townsend, where he was accountable for the building and running of their London-based project management infrastructure business, and driving the development of all commissions in the transport and utilities sectors.  A Chartered Civil Engineer by trade, Dyson has extensive experience in delivering complex multi-party infrastructure construction programmes and projects in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Commenting on his appointment, Dyson said, “AECOM has an unmatched multidisciplinary offer which is ideally placed to provide solutions on major infrastructure projects, making it a very exciting business to be part of. I was particularly attracted by the breadth and depth of capabilities within AECOM and the opportunity this gives us to create a really strong, end-to-end service for clients looking to invest in infrastructure.”

“We are currently seeing numerous opportunities in infrastructure throughout Europe, and having talented people like Paul on board will help us grow our business,” said Steve Waltho, Davis Langdon's Managing Director for Europe. “We are delighted that he has chosen to join AECOM.  His wealth of knowledge and experience will be of great benefit as we look to increase our market share.”

Dyson will report to Andrew Stevenson, Head of Infrastructure for Davis Langdon.
